Jaehoon Lee

Jaehoon Lee is admitted to practice law in both Korea and the United States and has over 16 years of legal experience across the two jurisdictions. While attending Yonsei University College of Law, he passed the Korean Bar Examination and later completed the Judicial Research and Training Institute. He began his legal career at Yoon & Yang LLC, where he handled corporate litigation, international arbitration, corporate advisory matters, and criminal cases. He later became a partner and represented clients in a wide range of disputes and corporate matters.

During his tenure at Yoon & Yang, he represented domestic and international companies in corporate disputes, cross-border transactions, intellectual property and trade secret matters, real estate disputes, and estate-related cases. He also handled complex matters involving business-related criminal issues and cases concerning public officials.

He completed an advanced program in international trade law at Columbia Law School and earned an LL.M. in European and International Business Law from the University of Vienna. Through these academic and professional experiences, he developed an understanding of the legal environments and business structures in the United States and Europe.

He currently operates JL Law Group PLLC in Chicago and Dallas, where he handles contract, investment, dispute, and asset-related matters. His practice focuses on international legal issues involving the United States and Korea, providing legal services that take into account the legal frameworks of both jurisdictions.
